Soon after I started as PD of WWYZ in July, 2005, I needed to change the way the station had been using Selector™ for music scheduling and sequencing.  Jason Muth of Broadcast Architecture showed me how the results of our upcoming Mix-Master digital interactive music test could be configured to drive the revised strategy.  Jason conducted our Mix-Master test on the first evening of the Fall ratings period.  The next morning, he walked us step by step through the interpretation process, and we had our new music categories and rotations on the air before lunch.   When the ratings came out in January, our AQH share in adults 25-54 had rocketed from a 7.2 to 9.1 – our highest ratings in six years.
